Founder & President’ Profile

Samuel Otoo Lartey (Chatr.)

 Founder and president of the Institute for Leadership and Strategic Management Africa (ILSMA), leads and promote the institute in Ghana and around the world.

 Sam is a versatile young hardworking man with diverse background and experience in human resource, business management, and administration, marketing, leadership, consultancy, supply chain and procurement among others. , Understand changes and possess good skills to train others which can add value to any organization.

Sam has practiced hr management, procurement, and lectureship with adequate experience in both the private and public sector organizations. He is the management and training consultant to several private and public institutions.

Sam has trained several institutions including the Ghana Immigration Service, Ghana Army, Franks International (Oil and Gas Co.), Micro-Finance, Personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service, Ga Central Municipal Assembly, over 500 Francophones, and officials from other African countries among others.

He lectured at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology(IDL-Accra) with the faculty of human resource and organizational development, Graduate School of Governance and Leadership(GSGL-Accra), International Organization for Capacity Building(IOCB-Accra), African Centre for Capacity Building(AFCAB-Accra), Chartered Institute of Supply Chain Management, Ghana(CISCM, Accra, Tema, Takoradi), Cambridge International College-UK(CIC, Accra) and also thought modules under the Institute of Commercial Management(ICM) and the Association of Business Executives in the United Kingdom respectively. He currently teaches part-time on the degree program at Accra Business School(ABS, Spintex) and Regent University in Accra.

As president, Sam has engaged ILSMA in a transformative rout map to adapt to principles that will make education simple but quality in Africa.

Sam’s key initiative is to provide creativity and innovation particularly in entrepreneurship, organizational leadership and strategic management that will reflect his commitment to applying knowledge to benefit society and towards the global common purpose.

Sam is pursuing MSc. Organizational Psychology and LLB simultaneously and expected to complete soon, final level student at the Institute of Human Resource Management Practitioners (IHRMP) Ghana.

Holds Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies at Association of Business Executives/ Practitioners -Uk (London College of Management Studies), Postgraduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management (CISCM-Ghana), Bachelor of Technology in Procurement and Supply Chain Management (Accra Technical University), a Higher Diploma in Supply Chain Management (CISCM-Ghana), Higher National Diploma in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management (Accra Polytechnic) and an Intermediary Certificate in Oil and Gas Commercial Management (Goodwill International Group). He is a Chartered Supply Chain Professional. Certified Member (HRM, OHSM, CSM, SCM, POM, Maktr.p, and SMgt.)

Sam has attended about seventy-eight workshops in business management, entrepreneurship, leadership and banking among others and also trained over five thousand students in job creation and business management applications. He is a martial artist with a firm background in Shotokan karate, taekwondo and also a movie character.

Charter. Otoo is currently the Human Resource/Administrative Manager for Happy Sunshine Company Ghana Limited and the Ghana country president/promoter for the World Kick Boxing/Mixed Martial Arts Federation.
