Council for Technical and Vocational Education & Training: The Institute of Project Management Professionals is a registered TVET Training Center for Council for Technical and Vocational Education & Training (COTVET-Ghana) under the COVET L.I. 2195 of 2012 with a registration number: CT-TP0194/17. The Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (COTVET) is a national body set up by an Act of Parliament of the Republic of Ghana to co-ordinate and oversee all aspects of technical and vocational education and training in the country. Their major objective is to formulate policies for skills development across the broad spectrum of pre-tertiary and tertiary education, formal, informal and non-formal sectors. COTVET is establishing Ghana’s Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) system to improve the productivity and competitiveness of the skilled workforce and raise the income generating capacities of people, especially women and low income groups through provision of quality-oriented, industry-focused and competency-based training programmes and complementary services. National Board of Professional & Technical Examination (NABPTEX-Ghana): The Institute of Project Management Professionals is accredited and affiliate to National Board of Professional & Technical Examination (NABPTEX-Ghana) for mentoring and monitoring of its professional membership examinations. The National Board for Professional and Technician Examinations (NABPTEX) is one of three bodies with the mandate to regulate the tertiary education sector. Reconstituted in 2004, eleven years after its inauguration, is fully aware of the challenges and opportunities presented by current trends in Ghana’s tertiary education sector, as well as the need to position itself to enhance its value and relevance. Association of Professional Bodies Ghana: The Institute of Project Management Professionals is a registered member of Association of Professional Bodies Ghana. The Association of Professional Bodies – Ghana is a unique alliance of government approved professional bodies in Ghana, national qualification bodies to help practitioners and organizations make sense of the many standards and certifications available globally to guide the management of professionals. International Board of Standards for Training, Performance and Instruction (ibstpi®). The Institute of Project Management Professionals follows the Instructional Designer Competencies, Training Manager Competencies, Evaluator Competencies, and Instructor Competencies of International Board of Standards for Training, Performance and Instruction. The International Board of Standards for Training, Performance and Instruction (ibstpi®) is a not-for-profit corporation that provides leadership to the community by setting the standards. The Board is composed of up to fifteen professionals of the highest repute in their respective fields of expertise who spearhead the research & development of standards, competencies, products and services. They are selected to broadly represent the constituencies that they serve. The American Academy of Project Management is a the global graduate Board of Standards for project management industry professionals. Our graduate designations are for those with an accredited degree or vast PM training and experience. Candidates can earn AAPM/IPMC board certification and a charter as a: MPM ® Master Project Manager, CIPM ® Certified International Project Manager, PME Project Manager E-Business, CPRM Certified Project Risk Manager, MQM Master of Quality Management or Master Quality Manager, CPE Certified Planning Engineer, and CEC Certified E-Commerce Consultant. The AAPM ® also offers specialist designations in: E-Marketing, Human Resources, Process Consulting, and Service Analysis. In the project management employment world, candidates should earn or attain specializations or unique PM qualifications and credentials because everybody seems to have the basic project management certification.
